Tips

Scoring
In Unipong, you get points anytime you hit the ball with the paddle. If you do tricks or hit the walls or ceiling in between paddle hits, you also get points.

Trick Chains
To really rack up the big Unipong Scores, you'll need to start chaining your tricks together. Doing tricks in between each bounce of the ball on the paddle creates a chain. A chain ends when you hit the ball twice on the paddle without doing a trick in between. Once a chain has been completed, you'll receive a number of points for all the individual tricks and combos in that chain, multiplied by the number of "links" in that chain. So a two trick chain of bounce/flip/bounce/flip/toss/bounce would be worth 26 points (1 + 5 + 1 + 5 + 1 x 2 tricks = 26). See below for more information about doing the same trick multiple times in a row.

Repeat Tricks
If you for the same trick multiple times in a row, you'll get less points each time you do it. However, this rule does not apply to Combos, where you do the same trick multiple times in between 2 bounces. In other words, Unipongers who mix things up will score higher than those who always do the same couple of tricks.

Walls, Ceilings, and Obstacles
You'll get 2 points every time you hit the ball off of the walls or the ceiling and at least 5 points for hitting it off of an obstacle. Try hitting all the obstacles to find the ones that earn you the most points.

Objective Bonuses
You'll get a 1000-point bonus every time you complete an objective.

The Flow
Flow is similar to being "in the zone", or "on a roll". While in Flow, Unipongers are able to perform as if the world has slowed down around them. Flow will allow you to do bigger combos and longer chains. Smart use of Flow is what sets world class Unipongers apart from the rest.
